More cyclists die on Spain’s roads than anywhere else in Europe. One of the main causes is the lack of visibility. We created Volkswagen Bike Assist, an application which connects cyclists and drivers to avoid accidents. We improved road safety by means of a simple mobile application and GPS technology. Any application which uses maps can incorporate Bike Assist functionality by means of a simple update. We sparked the interest of the main app developers to incorporated our technology into their apps. We took action by concerning ourselves with everybody’s safety on the road.
